Manu Awasthi, Computer Science, Ashoka University I am an Associate Professor of Practice in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, and an Adjunct Faculty in Computer Science at Ashoka University. I teach courses related to computer systems, and my research interests are in many areas of computer systems: computer architecture: memory and storage systems, cloud computing and public cloud economics, software engineering, performance optimization and deployment architectures for the cloud.

Currently, all my energies are focussed towards Project Madhava, which has two main verticals: design of large scale, hands-on computer systems pedagogy and development of RISC-V based microcontrollers.
